| The Cahill Ministries Food Bank Distribution Center has grown from an operation of 10 participating organizations in 1997 to 270+ in 2008 throughout Central Florida. The Food Bank distributed over $18,000,000 in food in 2001. Nearly 55,000 (54,810) households per month are being impacted through the food distribution efforts of participating agencies, providing 3.3 million units of service on an annual basis in 2002. Cahill Ministries Food Bank has also been able to marshal resources to provide sizeable contributions of food to disaster relief efforts and community events targeting hunger. |

Extensive emergency aid to tornado victims in Kissimmee,
FL. Nov. 1998- Tractor trailer load of food to Inner City Church in Pawtucket RI and also to Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Dec. 2001- Tractor trailer load with over $100,000 of food to victims' families and rescue workers to be utilized at ground zero in N.Y. Jan. 2002- Tractor trailer load with over $50,000 of food to be utilized at ground zero in N.Y. |
